The Center for Parent-Child
Studies is concerned with how parents and children contribute to children's
development. The major aim of the Center is to use research to answer
a variety of questions on this issue. Currently, there are a number
of ongoing research projects (see
Current Projects). The research at the Center for Parent-Child
Studies is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. The
Center is also a teaching facility, training advanced undergraduates
and graduate students in theory, methodology, and analysis related
to children's development.
