I am primarily interested in the structure and development of job performance. I view this as an outcropping of the general adult development process. I am also interested in personality development and the dynamics of affective experience, especially as they impact on-the-job behavior.
To explore these questions, I employ longitudinal and experience sampling designs. I use a variety of statistical methods, including multilevel modeling, latent growth analysis, multiway techniques, including the PARAFAC and Tucker3 models. I am also interested in using models for dynamical systems. Representative Publications: - Spain, S.M., & Miner, A.G. Investigating multivariate dynamic criteria using experience sampling and multimode factor analysis. Under review at Multivariate Behavioral Research.
